Wrong content, too pricey, September 3, 2011

I tried WSJ for Kindle. Really liked the covenience, but it ends there.
The only edition available is very slanted to life in NY city. Fine if
you live there, but for years I have subscribed to the Southwest print
addition. No choice available on Kindle. You get whatever you want as
long it is the NYC addition and the graphics are not nearly what they
are in the on-line addition. Then there is the price. It was high at
$9.99. But $14.99 ? I don't think so. Maybe WSJ and Amazon will figure
this out and offer some variety at a reasonable price. Until then....

I subscribed the Kindle version for a short period. I think the pricing
is ridiculous because it is locked into one Kindle, unlike books that
can be placed on 6 Kindles. I want to carry a small Kindle on the way
but prefer reading on a large Kindle at home. If I subscribe a paper
version, my whole family can read different sections at the same time in
the morning. If I subscribe a web or iPad version, my whole family can
read any section the same time on everyone's iPad. With the Kindle
version, only one person can read the journal. Because of this, I
stopped buying any more Kindles, regardless how good it is. As you can
see, the over-pricing not only kills the journal's Kindle version but
also kills Kindles.

Price too high-Already paying too much for necessary goods, August 19, 2011
This review is from: The Wall Street Journal (Kindle Edition)
While I do enjoy WSJ and will miss being able to read some poignant
pieces before even leaving home, I simply cannot justify the cost with
such a terrible economy. With food and gas prices soaring and
medications being taken off the shelf due to FDA's over reaching arm,
I'm disheartened to see that a digital product would also have the nerve
to increase it's price. I've noticed other price increases in general
on Amazon. I'm beginning to feel some companies might be just jumping
the price-raising bandwagon without the overhead costs to justify it.
